As a newly forged Joint Venture established in 2018 between AGC North America and AutoTemp Inc., AAG Glass is uniquely positioned with both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and Aftermarket expertise to manufacture the finest Laminated Glass products.  AAG operates out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to service the windshield aftermarket, as well as, be a short run OEM for new vehicles.  Our primary objective is to be first to market in supplying aftermarket windshields for new model vehicle introductions.  Our focus is centered around innovative technologies such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and heads up displays.  These features are incorporated in the mirror bracket region on windshields whereas proper installation is highly critical. AGC, headquartered in Japan, is one of the largest glass manufacturers in the world.  They are at the forefront of developing these types of technologies.  AutoTemp Inc., is the premier manufacturer of aftermarket tempered glass in the USA. 

AAG was derived from the idea of combining AGC’s technology and engineering, along with AutoTemp’s approach in fast and cost-effective part development.  This combination creates a company uniquely capable of servicing this niche aftermarket industry.  In addition to servicing the aftermarket, AAG pursues OEM short run opportunities.  We investigate a variety of OEM market segments including Low Volume Passenger Cars, Electric, Agricultural, and Specialty Vehicles.
